PURPOSE The Senior Strategic Business Analyst will serve as a vital part of the organization in supporting the strategic initiatives as well as work on complex, high-profile projects.This position is key to monitoring and reporting on recommendations, changes, policy or process initiatives, ensuring they are in line with organizational business strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintain a thorough understanding of business processesAnalyze data and provide top management with timely and well-organized reports that will aid in the strategic decision processCoordinate with related departments to organize project teams on the determined projects for strategic decisionsProactively suggest, plan and implement processes to improve SIS productivityDevelop metrics needed to accurately measure business performanceProvide support and expertise to annual sales planning activitiesAssist the SIS Manager in multiple facets such as: training, mentoring and coaching SIS team members, reviewing reports prior to proposal, and confirming accuracy is being met within the group while ensuring the strategy of the department and objectives are met.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTPosition requires extensive work using a computerMaintain seated posture for 8 or more hours per dayMay require evening and weekend work in response to the needs of the systems being supported.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics or related fieldFive (5) or more years of relevant analytical experienceStrong ability to manage high-priority tasks with accuracySelf-starter needing little supervisionAbility to lead, guide and train othersStrong communication and analytical skillsHigh levels of confidentiality must be met at all timesMust be proficient in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables, Macros and formulas). For internal use only: StratAnalysis001
